In this fantasy fiction, one "normal" family begins to experience unique encounters in a strange world. They come across things like edible scrolls, character nurturing fruit, a very important Book, the power of words, spiritual armor, and even a hint at a cleansing blood, and a virgin birth, which all set the stage for the important revelation of the second book.
