"First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." 1 Timothy 2:1-4

Updated January 4, 2025
On January 6, 2020 I received a word from the Lord about January 6, 2021—a day which became an iconic day in American history. My notes from that day:
“High Places Taken
Monday, January 6, 2020
9:21 AM
I was reading in Joshua today about the last major battle for Israel when entering the Promised Land. It was at the waters of Merom (high place). The city Hazor, the head of all the kingdoms they conquered, was located there.
The final major victory needed to take the land will be at the high place where the enemy stronghold will be defeated. There will be other battles to come for this land to be fully possessed by God’s people, but this one is significant. The Lord said to hamstring (disable) their horses (strength) and burn their chariots with fire. Take the stronghold of the enemy in the high place!
All the kings of the land had gathered together to attack Israel—huge armies banding together against a common enemy. The Lord said to Joshua, “Do not be afraid because of them, for tomorrow at this time I will deliver all of them slain before Israel; you shall hamstring their horses and burn their chariots with fire.”
Next year about this time, we will see their defeat! Their strength disabled and their chariots burned!”
When the events of January 6, 2021 first happened in Washington D.C., it appeared as if “we” were the ones who lost terribly. I asked the Lord what happened, I knew it was to be a victory for the righteous of America, taking back the land for His purposes. Were we wrong? Was I wrong? Soul searching was necessary. After a period of time, He told me that January 6 had needed to be “built.” It needed to become the icon that it has. The battle had to have a battlefield, a point of contact, a time and place.
January 6 became like the battlefield at the waters of Merom. It was the “tomorrow at this time” battle. For ancient Israel, the battle to finish taking the Promised Land began there. Israel had already conquered the south, which is why Jabin went after them in the first place, afraid they would come and conquer them in the north. (Jabin was the King of Hazor, and his name means “intelligent”).
So, to finish taking their Promised Land, Israel had to conquer all the kings who had gathered with Jabin to attack them. Hazor had been the head of all these kingdoms. After winning that battle at Merom, the Israelites pursued the enemy until they were destroyed. We must not sit back and gloat in our victories, but follow through in pursuit to full victory. After Merom, Joshua turned, and went to capture Hazor. (See Joshua 11).
America’s “January 6” began our battle of Merom. When the coup went into effect on that day, it looked as if we had lost. Yet the battle had just begun, the enemy was being exposed. Though the enemies of America had been in place for many years, and some battles had been ongoing for a long time, they had gathered at that time and place to attack with a final blow—to stop God’s plans from proceeding any further. But just as God gave a word of victory to Joshua to win their battle, He has a word for us.
The waters of Merom (Jan 6) need to be dealt with first, then Hazor (the head) can be brought down. After that, the rest of the land. We read that Joshua waged war a long time with those kings (Joshua 11:18). Some places still needed to be conquered (Joshua 13:1), and the land had to be distributed—divided to the tribes. The occupants were not completely driven out until the Israelites took possession. It was to be a slow process.
This is not a battle to win quickly and then go back to the way we were. This is a battle for the soul of America to return to God and do the thing He’s called us to do with the mindset that it is for generations to come.
July 6, 2024 was 3 ½ years since America’s J6 “battle of Merom” began. The first assignation attempt on President Trump was on July 13, 2024, and God spared him when he turned his head just in time. I believe that was a turning point in the battle. and the turn toward Hazor began (Joshua 11:10). That was also a turning point for the J6’ers who had been charged with a crime and/or jailed, (and not treated well at all while in jail).
Many of those who gathered on January 6, 2021 were later arrested, falsely accused, and given horribly long felony sentences, with lenient misdemeanor options for admitting guilt. However, on June 28, 2024 the Supreme Court ruled that those J6’ers who were charged with a 20-year felony (under the Sarbanes-Oxley act) were wrongfully charged and their cases were overturned. (John Strand, for one, was released July 24, 2024, his book Patriot Plea will tell his story. JohnStrand.com).
I’m writing this on January 4, 2025, two days before another January 6 certification of the election of President Donald J. Trump and (this time) Vice-President J.D. Vance, who were elected on November 5, 2024. It’s time to finally win this January 6 battle—Merom and Hazor—and then for us to proceed to fulfill God’s will for America. The next generations will need to engage. They will need to know how to fight and maintain what God has given.
After Joshua’s death, another generation arose in Israel that did not know the Lord, nor what He had done for Israel. They did evil and served the Baals. The Lord had raised up judges who delivered them, but the people didn’t listen to them. The Lord had left nations in the land to test Israel—those who had not experienced any of the wars of Canaan—in order that those generations of Israel be taught to war (Judges 2, 3). We must teach our children how to fight and maintain the land God has given. We must learn how to perpetuate our victories to future generations.
At the Million Women gathering on October 12, 2024 at the Washington D.C. Mall, an Ashtaroth was destroyed. The Million Women gathering was an Esther type (and Mordecai) prayer gathering. When going before the king to try and save her people from genocide, Esther decided she would take the risk of approaching the king illegally and said, “If I perish, I perish,” (Esther 4). That was also the attitude of these women who gathered in Washington D.C. on October 12th, to pray and take back our nation. The high places are coming down. Right now the attention is turned to Mt. Hazor—the final high place.
The gathering on October 12, 2024 was held at the same place where Trump supporters gathered almost four years earlier in 2021 to protest the (fraudulent) results of the 2020 presidential election, stolen from President Trump. January 6th, 2021 was the day that election was officially certified.
On November 5th, 2024, Trump won the presidential election again in a landslide. On January 6th, 2025, the election will be certified. Here we are again, coming to another January 6 certification of President Trump. I believe this represents the conquering of Hazor, but like ancient Israel, many battles will be just beginning.
January 6th 2021 became an icon, it became a symbol, a symbol of the attack on our republic and all that it stands for. An attack meant to forever silence the Word of God in this nation, stopping the fulfilment of our God-given call. Yet I believe it will also be a symbol of victory.
Looking back, we can say that the true victory in this battle, is that many Americans have more seriously turned back to God. We have experienced a deeper commitment to the Lord than we did when Trump was elected in 2016. It was necessary for us to understand the seriousness of our times, and just how deep the corruption was in our government, our church, and our nation. It’s time for the Church to arise and revive.
We must learn from history and teach our children; and teach our children to teach their children.
God’s call and covenant with America:
In 1607, the expedition led by Pastor Robert Hunt arrived in Virginia Beach. When they arrived in Virginia, the expedition dedicated our country to the glory of God. They planted a rough-hewn wooden cross, which they brought from England, in the sand and prayed:
“We do hereby dedicate this Land, and ourselves, to reach the People within these shores with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to raise up Godly generations after us, and with these generations take the Kingdom of God to all the earth. May this Covenant of Dedication remain to all generations, as long as this earth remains, and may this Land, along with England, be Evangelist to the World. May all who see this Cross, remember what we have done here, and may those who come here to inhabit join us in this Covenant and in this most noble work that the Holy Scriptures may be fulfilled.”
